Dr.Andrea Botar completed her dental studies at New York University Dental School in 1991 in New York, USA.

She then pursued post-graduate studies in implant surgical training and implant prosthetic training and is presently an associate fellow at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Each year she not only takes the mandatory continuing education courses in the field of dentistry but has surpassed the credit requirements so that she can update her knowledge with the latest technological advances in implantology and esthetics.

In 2000 she returned to her alma mater, NYU as an associate clinical professor trying to share all the knowledge that she has accumulated over her years of experience in private  practice.

Dr.Botar presently is an active member of the AGD (American General Dental Assoc.), the AAID and holds a current license in the state of New York and District of Columbia.

She practiced dentistry for 17 years at her own private dental offices which were located in  New York City at Rockefeller Center and the other in Forest Hills, NY.

In 2006 an opportunity to become chief clinical consultant at BioLok Europe EC, an implant distributor firm in Hungary, brought her to Europe along with her many years of expertise.  She now lectures nationally in Hungary on implantology while still pursuing her practice of dentistry in Hungary.
Implantology is one field of specialty for Dr.Botar, however cosmetic dentistry makeovers made her popular back in New York. (please see before/after photos in the gallery)
